Vitor Manuel Silva Resende Began his musical activity at the age of 8, in the Musical Band of S. Cipriano "A Nova". He was a performing musician of trumpet for 13 years and then of percussion / drums. He was a musician invited by several orchestras and philharmonic bands and also participated in festivals in France, Belfort and Barcelona. He was present in several stages and Masterclasses, among them: II Stage of the Covilhã Symphonic Band Banda da Covilhã: 03/25/2008 - 03/27/2008 and 02/21/2009 - 02/23/2009 and I and II Stage of the Wind and Percussion Orchestra of the Lamego Music Academy. He was also a guest percussion teacher at the Masterclass of the Salzedas Band. He teaches Percussion, Wood and Metals classes at the Music School of the S. Cipriano Musical Band "A Nova" and also Drums / Percussion classes at the Resende Music Academy and also Music Training classes. At the level of his repertoire, as a composer, he has the choice of philharmonic bands a wide range of options from serious marches to light pieces, a repertoire which highlights some of his many works, such as: "Aeternum" - procession march, "Armindo Lamas" - street march, "Domigo Barros" - PasoDoble ... Among many others ... At the level of personal skills and competences: - Percussion - Ensemble Class - 2007 Free Drum Course; - Musical Formation; - Harmony, Improvisation and T. Auditivo - Orchestra practice. He currently works as a music director at the Banda Musical de S. Cipriano "A NOVA". Without a doubt, one of the great composers for Philharmonic Bands in our country!
