The vaccination against COVID-19, in Resende, will advance next week. In collaboration with the Grouping of Health Centers of Baixo Tâmega (ACES BT) and for the population of Resende to have access to the vaccine, in our municipality, thus avoiding travel of greater distances and all the resulting difficulties, the Municipality, in Within the scope of its competences in the area of civil protection, it decided to bear all logistical and financial charges inherent to the installation of the Resende Vaccination Center. In close partnership with local entities, namely the Local Health Authority and the Resende Personalized Health Care Unit (UCSP), the Vaccination Center will operate in temporary facilities located in the Resende Health Center park, next to SAP - Permanent Support Service, guaranteeing the safety conditions and the necessary facilities for the administration of the vaccine to users. In this first phase, citizens aged 80 or over will be vaccinated, except for bedridden users who, according to the Task Force, cannot be vaccinated at this time because the necessary conditions are not yet met. Thus, in this phase, about 1600 users of the municipality will be covered. The administration of the vaccine requires prior scheduling, date and time, so that all users who meet the vaccination criteria defined for this phase, will be previously contacted by the health entity and / or municipal technicians who will be collaborating with the Resende UCSP, in carrying out the calls. The order in which the call is made will strictly respect the list of users sent by ACES BT, organized in order of priority and there is therefore no possibility of alteration and / or anticipation. For all residents who do not have their own means of transport or other support resource, for example family members, the Municipality will also ensure free transportation, removing this limitation. Thus, WE APPEAL to the users covered in this vaccination phase, to wait with serenity for the contact of the entities, avoiding unnecessary trips to the Vaccination Center, to obtain information, reiterating that the only way of scheduling for the administration of the vaccine, will only occur by contact promoted by health entities and / or municipal technicians. To users who are summoned for vaccination, WE FURTHER APPEAL that the visit to the Vaccination Center should only take place at the time assigned to it, considering that the facilities have limited space and that all safety rules, including physical distance, must be complied with. .
