The Parish Council of São Cipriano would like to thank everyone who, in some way, participated and contributed to the celebration of Entrudo, and a special thanks to the presence of our Associations that were represented, to His Excellency the Mayor - Dr. Fernando Silvério, and to the Reverend Father Abel.
It was, without a doubt, an evening full of tradition, camaraderie, good humor, and entertainment.
After the parade of horns, the reading of the wills and their burning took place, as well as those of the compadres.
At the end, there was still time for the delicious garlic wine porridge and for the caldo verde.
A huge thank you to Manuel Resende and Luísa Silva for their tireless work and contribution, and also to the Mellers of Cárquere and to Dona Maria Dos Anjos for providing the pots and the fireplace.
We will continue to work to preserve the identity and traditions of our parish.
